Years ago when I was designing the kitchen for the cottage, I came across Motawi Tile. Simply amazing work! The business is allowed to reproduce Frank Lloyd Wright designs. As you can image I reached out to Motawi and requested a custom design, by Motawi. Elegant.
A few days ago I celebrated my 64th bright and beautiful birthday. To my surprise a small package from Motawi arrived. Within the wee package was a tile, Samara, A Frank Lloyd Wright design of the Samara seed. I quickly study the samara seed, watched a few videos and sure enough you can image the seed falling from the sky, start its rotation, achieve balance and land. What was interesting is how many physic professors have studied this seedling and it flight. Mr. Wright did in fact design a house based around this seedling.
You must have a few glasses of wine or a cocktail and see if you can image the flight of the Samara seedling. What a wonderful gift, many thoughts of trying to envision the art, 3 dimensional travel of the seedling. Excellent gift!
